Elena Ivaldi - Wrestler, Del Oro High School

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Elena Ivaldi of the Del Oro High School women’s wrestling team. She is an impressive young woman with her sites set on competing at the next level. Watch her tell her story from the MatTime wrestling and Jiu Jitsu gym in Loomis, CA.

As you can see Elena had an impressive ranking of #3 in the State of California as a high school freshman a few years ago. At the time of making this video she bested her Freshman ranking in CIF California by one position, making her the #2 ranked female wrestler in her weight class as a junior. Her obvious passion, which has lead her to wrestling across the nation and even to Japan, and extensive training has her on the right track to join an accomplished collegiate wrestling program.
